The story tells of one years tour in Vietnam 1967-68 with 2RAR. The Story is a first hand account of a tracking team and the two dogs and also tells the story of all 11 dogs who where in Vietnam 1967-71..
The book includes a summation of each dog that served with each battalion during the war years.
Trackers also give snapshots of war and what it was like for the baggy - arse grunt, as opposed to the academic waffle or view from the higher bough.
The book took two years to write and involved conversation with trackers from many battalions ....anyway , those I could locate through the network'!
